The food was fresh, delicious, and expertly prepared — the calamari, octopus, fish, fava, and desserts were all outstanding. The staff were exceptionally friendly and courteous, making sure we were well taken care of throughout. The proximity to the beach is an added bonus. All in all, a perfect weekend getaway.

We stumbled upon this gem as a stopover from Athens while on a trip to Meteora. We were starving, and surprisingly the food was served immediately. The woman who served us was so friendly, when we asked about the fish and the type of seafood, she was kind enough to bring me to the kitchen to personally show me the fresh seafood in their freezer. This charming taverna by a picturesque beach is the perfect blend of fresh, delicious food, warm hospitality, and relaxed seaside atmosphere. We spent a lovely two hours here on a Saturday afternoon, and the staff — including the owner — made sure everything was top notch.

Amazing fresh seafood right by the water. Perfect stop for lunch on our way from Volos back to Athens, only wish we had planned ahead to swim at the beach right in front. The staff is sweet and gracious and the food is even better. This is my favorite kind of place: fresh delicious dishes with high quality at reasonable prices in a casual vibe (but no swim clothes). Just a perfect afternoon by the water. And to top it all off the watermelon and cantaloupe compliments of the house is a refreshing end to a wonderful meal.Delicious sea bream fish that was wild caught. Very balanced and complex seasoning. Excellent service by George.

If you are traveling to and from Athens you must make this gem your stop. If i could give it 6 stars i would. The food here is amazing and the restaurant is really cozy. I spend my vacations in the middle of Greece and i always get plane tickets to Athens instead of Thessaloniki just to stop here, have a bath and eat quite possibly the best sea food in Greece.
A family running business with Phani giving us the unique feeling of greek hospitality and her husband cooking for us a great variety of fish specialities.
Excelent food served by the owner of the taverna. Fresh fish captured localy.
